Okayy, you know how I love gyaru nail art right? Argh but my current schedule is pretty tight and that leaves me little time to paint my nails. Hehe so I bought and tried some false nails in my recent taobao haul. This is the second time I've tried false nails, so I thought I'd do a little review on false nails in general for those who are considering using them.
HOW FALSE NAILS WORK
They are plastic/acrylic nails that you stick over your real nails using either glue, stickers, or some are press on. They are reusable if taken care of properly.
♥ Lots of time saved
♥ Flawless designs
♥ No need to struggle to paint with your non-dominant hand
✖ Most nail glues leave residue after being taken off, which is really annoying as it doesn't go off for awhile
✖ Constant need to be gentle, or they'll fall off
✖ Feel some what unnatural at times - eg. when you are writing
False nails are great if you want a quick mani for a night out; but long-term wear is troublesome!
Note: Pictured on the right is the nail glue and debonder that I used. I 've tried different brands but these seem to work the best for me. Let me know if you have tried better ones!
My opinion is not the only one, let's have a discussion!
Have you tried false nails? Do you want to?
